KEMP Hospice’s annual Christmas Raffle has been another amazing success, with congratulations going to Mr David Collins, who has won this year’s 1st prize of £1,000! Mr Collins said: “Like most people I buy raffle tickets as a gesture of support. You know that someone will win, but never dream that it will be you”. It is a wonderful surprise, and the prize money will be spent on something very special, but the important thing is knowing that the raffle as a whole has once again proved an essential fundraising source for KEMP.” With a first prize of £1000, runners up in the raffle winning £250 and £100 are Mr J Warren and Mrs Whale. Hospice Fundraiser Elena Bloomfield, stated: “KEMP Hospice would like to thank everyone who took part in this year’s Christmas Raffle as they helped raise almost £7,800 which will make a huge difference to the work KEMP can achieve supporting the Wyre Forest Community.” All KEMP Hospice services are provided free of charge and delivered by a skilled clinical team. The Hospice needs to raise £940,000 annually, the majority of which raised via voluntary contributions and donations.
