After the strain take the train
KEMP Hospice invites you to join them for a relaxing country walk along the River Severn from Bewdley to Highley on Sunday 14th September.
Walkers will meet at the Severn Valley Railway Station in Bewdley at 9.00am before following the River Severn north through the beautiful countryside to Highley, where they will be rewarded with a lovely cup of tea or coffee and piece of cake, before finally boarding the steam train for their return journey back to Bewdley.
Kate Wilkinson, Events Fundraiser said: “The River Severn Walk is always a fabulous event with picturesque villages, friendly people and an enjoyable return journey on a steam train back to Bewdley. So why not join us and make it a day to remember?”
Based in the heart of the Wyre Forest, KEMP Hospice provides indispensable specialist care and support to patients, families and carers who are dealing with life limiting illness and bereavement. Everyone who takes part will be helping raise essential funds to support KEMP’s work within the community.
Registration is £15 per adult and £7.50 for those under the age of 16. Registration entitles the walker to a KEMP Hopsice t-shirt, slice of yummy cake, a hot drink and a train ticket for the return journey back to Bewdley.
