All Heart at Kidderminster Nursery
Big hearted children at Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster have been busy creating heart-shaped fridge magnets to raise money for the British Heart Foundation’s shop in Kidderminster and to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Nursery Manager, Miss Gaynor Carter, said: “The children had a wonderful time creating their heart fridge magnets which have been displayed in the shop window of the British Heart Foundation in Kidderminster over the weekend and including Valentine's Day on Tuesday when the children will also take part in a ‘wear red’ Valentine's Day dress down day.”
The British Heart Foundation is the UK’s largest independent funder of cardiovascular research, with coronary heart disease the single biggest killer in the UK. Their pioneering research is helping to transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions.
Miss Carter added: “Creative play encourages a range of skill development, with this activity involving even our youngest children from 2 years of age and up, and they all thoroughly enjoyed carefully painting and organising their heart fridge magnets to help raise money for the British Heart Foundation.”
