Are you looking for a new exciting cycle challenge?

Well KEMP Hospice is looking for riders to take part in their London to Brighton cycle challenge on Sunday 8th September. The challenge is covering a total of 54 miles and starting from Clapham Common, the cyclists will weave their way through towns and villages throughout the day until they finally reach their destination of Brighton. One man taking up the cycling challenge on behalf of KEMP Hospice is Michael de Groot: “I've always wanted to do a personal challenge. I love cycling so when KEMP Hospice announced that there was an opportunity to do the London to Brighton cycle ride I jumped at the opportunity as a personal challenge to support a charity is not only rewarding for the charity but hugely satisfying on a personal level too and something I will never forget.” Samantha Howell from KEMP Hospice commented: “Although no previous experience is required, we have been encouraging our cyclists to prepare with a bit of light training to ensure they not only complete the ride, but that they have a thoroughly enjoyable time doing it. The spirit of the event is 'taking part' not 'winning' so they  can cycle as fast or as slow as they wish!” The sponsorship money raised will help provide indispensable specialist support and care to patients, families and carers who are living with life limiting illness and experiencing bereavement.
