Can you donate an hour to support KEMP’s twelve-days of Christmas?
KEMP Hospice is looking for talented people from across the community to donate an hour of their time between Monday 1st December and Friday 19th December to support their twelve-days of Christmas celebrations.
Can you spare an hour to offer patients a variety of entertainment? Sing a song, play an instrument or read a book? A local celebrity perhaps - can you dance, do magic, caller for a game of bingo or a do a short comedy or acting routine?
Whatever your talent KEMP Hospice would love to hear from you?
Hospice fundraising administrator, Julie Hicks, said: “Christmas isn’t that far off now, and KEMP would really like all our patients using the Hospice during December to have a Christmas to remember.
“It can be a difficult time of year for anyone, especially if you don’t know how many more Christmas’s you’ll be able to enjoy. Emotions run high and low, so making the most of Christmas with singing and laughter is the best possible present anyone can give.”
KEMP Hospice in Mason Road offers specialist care and support to patients, families and carers in the Wyre Forest and surrounding areas who are dealing with life limiting illness and bereavement, with the aim of maintaining patient’s independence and also providing support that will help them as they adapt to their changing abilities and enable them to continue to live their lives to the full, for as long as possible.
If you can help this Christmas or wish to donate or to arrange a lasting legacy , please contact Julie Hicks at KEMP Hospice on 01562 756066 or email fundraising@kemphospice.org.uk
