Fathers’ Day Celebrations

Wrapping and labelling done, children at Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster are all excited ahead of this year’s Father’s Day on Sunday 19th June. Nursery manager, Miss Gaynor Carter, said: “Celebrating special events such as Father’s Day is a fabulous opportunity for the children to get creative and practice holding paintbrushes and choosing which colour to paint where! “Parents love to see the pictures their children have drawn whilst at nursery, so with Father’s Day on the horizon we decided to organise personalised Father’s Day mugs with each child creating their very own artwork mug masterpiece.” Little Trinity Nursery stimulate children through a range of activities which both nurture and support children as they grow. Creative play helps to develop fine motor skills, hand and eye co-ordination as well as interaction with others. Miss Carter added: “From the youngest children of 2-years and upwards, are encourage them to plan and initiate their own activities which then supports and promotes their natural development as they explore through play. “We do hope all our dads love their mugs and treasure them for many years to come.”
