Fun Week Fun at Little Trinity Nursery

Children at Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster have enjoyed a fun-packed week of events and play with each day offering different activities for them to enjoy. Nursery manager, Miss Gaynor Carter, commented: “Every year we hold a fun day but this year we thought why stop at a day, so instead we decided to carry it over the whole week. “The children participated in activities based around the theme of 'Disney' including designing their very own Cinderella tiaras and crowns, taking part in a Mad Hatter's Tea Party, and creating a small 'Frozen' world play scene and ‘Lion King’ pasta heads together with taking part in outside play in the park opposite.” As part of the nursery’s daily Early Years personal, social and emotional development activities, the children were encouraged to investigate using touch, smell and taste and their Snack Café of healthy options also included yummy cakes, biscuits and other delightful themed treats. Miss Carter added: “Instead of wearing uniform the children delighted in dressing up as characters from Disney classics such as Elsa, Belle and Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. “Learning through play ensures that whatever we do is fun and still involves all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage, whether it's playing Dora memory games or looking at numbers on Beauty and the Beast’s Cogsworth Clock!”
