Holy Trinity Young Enterprise Team Through to Finals
Young Enterprise (YE) team ‘Waves’ from Holy Trinity School and Sixth Form Centre in Kidderminster is overjoyed as they will now compete in the Hereford and Worcestershire Young Enterprise finals at County Hall in Worcester on the 9th May 2019.
Having won the North Worcestershire Young Enterprise Finals for their environmentally friendly, organic and sustainable beard oil and original beard comb design, tapping into the current trend for facial hair products, Waves were praised for their outstanding marketing and branding.
Commenting on their success to date and next month’s finals, Waves Managing Director Callum King said: “The experience so far has been amazing, and we are so honoured to have won the awards we already have and be chosen to move forward. The feedback from the judges has been so important in helping us to get ready."
Winning Best Display and Best Brand Image at the Young Enterprise Worcester Trade Fair in March, Waves were also one of ten YE groups from across the West Midlands to be invited to a competition at the new HSBC building on Broad Street in Birmingham during the Easter break where they will have the opportunity to sell their products.
Holy Trinity teacher Mr Chris Barth commented: “I’m delighted for them all as they’ve worked extremely hard to develop and market their products. The positive feedback and comments from the judges have also given them plenty to work on before the next round of the competition in May.”
