Kidderminster firm Minster joins Made in the Midlands Westminster Delegation
Kidderminster technology firm, Minster Micro Computers Ltd, joined a Made in the Midlands (MIM) delegation to meet Secretary of State for Business, Vince Cable, at the Houses of Parliament.
The MIM delegation of over thirty Midlands businesses made the trip to Westminster to impress on the Business Secretary how much the UK economy benefits from Midlands businesses.
Minster Director, Mrs Susan Marlow, said: “This was a fantastic opportunity to highlight the good work that so many Midlands businesses do for our country and to emphasise that there is much that should be done to aid manufacturers to fill the skills gap.”
The MIM delegation now hopes that the Government continues to listen to business owners and with Midlands manufacturing a key player in the regeneration of the UK’s economy, that the Government explores new and more creative ways in which to bring business back to the UK.
Added Susan: “Westminster was nothing like I imagined. Having had this small insight into how our Government works, I have found it extremely helpful as a business owner and I’d thoroughly recommend it to everyone.”
