Kidderminster Nursery Christmas Party Fun

Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster invited children and parents to a festive-fun party as an alternative to their usual Christmas celebrations.

Nursery manager, Gaynor Carter, said: “We always put on the traditional 'Nativity' but this year to be more inclusive and to do something a little different, where parents could be more relaxed whilst their children had fun, so we decided to kick-start the holiday season with a festive and fun Christmas party.”

Welcoming some fifty parents and nearly seventy children, the day started with a sing-along and carol session with parents and children singing traditional and new Christmas carols and songs, before then party food and snack time and games of pass-the-parcel, musical statues and bumps before the main event, a visit by Father Christmas.

Gaynor added: “The excitement and joy was tangible as the children realised a very special person had come to see them. Santa, who during his very busy schedule had made a flying visit to Little Trinity to meet all the children and hand out gifts. His visit was wonderful and I’m sure he brought a little bit of magic and the North Pole with him!

“Ending our day’s celebrations, the children danced, danced and danced some more, with a great time had by all and it has certainly put everyone in the mood for the exciting and fun of Christmas day next week!”
