Kidderminster Nursery Enjoys Summer Fun Week
As part of their annual Fun Week celebrations, children at Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster have been enjoying a range of creative and fun activities.
With this year’s theme of Pirates and Princesses, during the week the children played games, did crafts, painted and dressed-up in beautiful costumes.
Nursery Manager, Gaynor Carter explained: “We always like to hold a Fun Week around this time of year, with lots of different fun activities taking place throughout the week so that all our children can be involved and not just those who attend on a full week basis.”
As well as expeditions to the park, they walked the plank on their very own Pirate Ship, hunted for buried treasure and made buried treasure maps; made regal crowns, sparkling tiara's and created fantastic magic mirrors.
Adding Miss Carter said: “The children enjoyed their special treats during our snack café time and even had their very own ‘movie afternoon’ with of course popcorn!
“Throughout the summer the children will still follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards for learning, development and care, with all our activities designed with EYFS in mind. Learning is fun and they all love taking part in our special Fun Week!”
