Kidderminster Nursery’s Halloween Fun
A thrilling Halloween-themed week was had by all at Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster as the children took part in lots of ghoulish activities and games.
Class activities included making witches brew, pumpkin printing, pumpkin shape sorting and taking part in the hair-raising game of save the spiders.
Nursery Manager, Gaynor Carter, commented: “They’ve had a spooktacular fun week leading up to our ‘party games day’ on the Thursday when they enjoyed pass the parcel, ghost bowling, pin the spider on the web, jelly/spaghetti/pumpkin messy play, making spooky pumpkin biscuits and pom-pom ghosts and making eery potions in the water tray.”
Little Trinity’s Halloween week was designed to help promote social skills, interaction with others whilst enabling the children to strengthen relationships and friendships and improve their balance and co-ordination.
Added Gaynor: “Halloween week is lots of fun, fun, fun, but they continued to learn and finesse both their fine and gross motor skills as they played spooky games and took part in the many Halloween activities.”
