Kidderminster PTA Summer Fayre to Support Charities

Holy Trinity School in Kidderminster is preparing once again for this year's annual Parent Teachers Association (PTA) Summer Fayre bonanza, which will be held at the Birmingham Road School on Saturday 20th June from 12:30pm. Promising once again to be an amazing community and family event, attractions on the day will include: Grand PTA Raffle with a first prize of a Nintendo Wii-U plus game, £50 to spend at the Running Horse pub, mega hamper, tickets to Telford ice rink and Worcester cricket club, men’s and ladies haircuts, nail care at Supreme Nails in Stourport, Slimming World membership and goodies, a case of wine, a bottle of whiskey, two £50 High Street vouchers, a four-ball golf voucher for Little Lakes golf club, and many more prizes. In addition there will be a barbecue supplied by Hodge Hill butchers, bungee castle, slide and run, children’s’ rides and stalls, ice-creams, homemade cake stall and many external traders to name just a few! Entertainment in the arena includes wrestling, karate, Thai boxing and Irish dance displays, live music and a tug of war! The PTA each year chooses two charities close to their hearts to benefit from the annual event. This year to benefit will be The Stroke Association and Acorns Children’s Hospice. PTA Chair, Mrs Michelle Howles, said: “This year promises to be even bigger and better than ever as we welcome our extended Free School community and Worcestershire families to this fantastic summer fun day.” A highly popular community event open to all, it is an ideal event for local children and families to attend, with entrance costing only 50p!
