Kidderminster School Create Christmas Cards for Local Care Homes
As the festive season gets underway, pupils at Kidderminster’s Holy Trinity School and Sixth Form Centre have created personal and group Christmas cards to bring a little cheer to local care home residents.
Organised as a whole school activity over the last two days of term, each tutor group produced their very own unique Christmas cards to send to residents in our local care homes.
Deputy headteacher, Rebecca da Costa, commented: “We recognise that it has been a really difficult year for many people and this was our way of reaching out to our local community who can feel isolated and lonely, especially at this time of year.
“Given that we cannot go to play carols and wish residents personally a very Merry Christmas we still wanted to do something to brighten their day.”
