Kidderminster School Receives “Good” Ofsted Rating Throughout
Holy Trinity School and Sixth Form Centre in Kidderminster is delighted after an OFSTED inspection rated the school as ‘Good’ in all areas.
A co-educational all-through Free School for students aged 4 to 18 years, inspectors commented that pupils value the school’s family feel and that teachers know students well which helps to make them feel safe. They also commented that pupils work hard in lessons and enjoy coming to school with attendance good and that pupils appreciate the range of subjects they can choose for GCSEs and in the sixth form.
The report also highlighted the school’s priority for pupils’ personal development, wellbeing and social interactions following the COVID -19 pandemic and putting in place a school mental health practitioner, a school counsellor, and an expanded pastoral team to support all pupils.
Recommendations set out in the report acknowledged that much work had already been undertaken towards what are in effect the school’s development targets.
Headteacher, Mrs Pamela Leek-Wright said: “I am delighted to share our OFSTED report with the school and wider community which has judged the school to be ‘Good’ in every single category.
“On completion of the inspection the team wanted to thank everyone involved as they felt that all stakeholders had been honest and open, which enabled them to create a report that was a true reflection of the school.”
