Little Trinity Nursery Raise Funds for Macmillan

For three weeks leading up to the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 30th September, Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster will be busy raising funds in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Nursery manager, Miss Gaynor Carter, said: “We always like to support the Macmillan Coffee Morning, so this year we decided to do something a little different for both parents and children to enjoy.” With a range of books for sale daily on their second hand book stall, the nursery will also be selling raffle tickets for prizes including jigsaw puzzles, family games, paint the money box pig and of course the important Teddy, the Teddy Bear. Little Trinity Nursery is based within the grounds of Holy Trinity School and caters for pre-school children from the age of 2 years, with the nursery encouraging creative play which helps develop hand and eye co-ordination, literacy and numeracy skills, motor skills and general communication with others. Miss Carter added: “This term we had so many new books to add to our library that it was an ideal opportunity to recycle the good quality books and raise money for Macmillan, and by holding a raffle we could also provide parents and children with the thrill of choosing a prize with their winning tickets and know that they have helped raise money for a wonderful charity.”
