Little Trinity Nursery Raise Over £200 for Macmillan
For three weeks leading up to the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 30th September, Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster sold books on their second hand book stall as well as raffle tickets and raised £213.54 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Nursery manager, Miss Gaynor Carter said: “We had so many new books to add to our library that it was an ideal opportunity to recycle the good quality books and raise money for Macmillan, and by holding a raffle we could also provide parents and children with the thrill of choosing a prize and know that they had helped raise money for a wonderful charity.”
Selling raffle tickets for prizes such as jigsaw puzzles, family games, paint the money box pig and the important Teddy, the Teddy Bear, the nursery is delighted to have raised so much.
Miss Gaynor Carter added: “We would like to thank all our parents for their help and support which helped raise a fantastic £213.54 for Macmillan Cancer Support.”
