Mothers’ Day Crafty Creations

Painting, sticking and gluing complete, children at Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster are all excited and ready to hand out their crafty creations ahead of Mothering Sunday 26th March. Nursery manager, Miss Gaynor Carter, said: “Mothers’ Day is a wonderful celebration which often includes presents of spring flowers and chocolates and so it’s a wonderful opportunity for the children to put their creative skills to work and this year they’ve created personalized gift bags, cards and special wrapped chocolates.” Little Trinity Nursery, which is based within the grounds of Holy Trinity School in Birmingham Road, encourages children from the very youngest at 2-years to take part in a range of stimulating and creative play activities which help in the development of fine motor skills, hand and eye co-ordination as well as nurturing interaction with others. Miss Carter added: “Parents always love to receive gifts and paintings made by their children as it makes it extra special. “Mothers’ Day is the perfect opportunity for the children to get creative and personalise their gifts ready for Mothering Sunday. We hope all our mums love their presents.”
