New-Look Nursery for Little Trinity

It’s all smiles and giggles for children following the completion of building works at Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster. Nursery manager, Miss Gaynor Carter, said: “After months of redecorating and refurbishing, the new look nursery is a hit with children, parents and staff. Everyone has settled into their new surroundings very well, and the children who are new to Little Trinity are busy exploring and having fun!” The attractive new classrooms are light, bright and airy with themed play areas encompassing toy and book libraries, Wendy houses, reading corners, paints and sandpits, as well as the all-important dressing up section which has a selection of must have Superman, Fireman Sam, Cinderella and Elsa costumes. Early Years personal, social and emotional development activities are encouraged at Little Trinity with the children supported as they investigate through touch, smell and taste. Creative play helps build literacy and numeracy skills, and supports hand and eye co-ordination, motor skills and general communication with others. Miss Carter added: “This refurbishment adds to the wealth of activities already on offer at Little Trinity, with learning tools more easily accessible by the children and a greater variety of activity spaces available which helps to promote and enhance pre-reading and communication skills from the youngest children of 2-years and upwards. “We’ve already had a number of new children start so it’s buzzing and very busy, but there’s room for more as we still have availability in our 2-year old room.”
