Nursery Children Enjoy First Swimming Gala
Children from Kidderminster’s Little Trinity Nursery were delighted when they received swimming certificates and medals when they took part in their first Nursery House Swimming Gala.
Swimming in a number of different fun-packed races, with Dolphin House eventually crowned the overall gala winner.
Nursery Manager, Miss Gaynor Carter, said: “Swimming for the children is a regular part of our nursery week, so it is extremely rewarding to see how confident they have all become in the water.”
Swimming a mixture of widths and lengths of the pool, to the delight of family members shouting support from the pool balcony, Little Trinity Nursery, based within the grounds of Holy Trinity School, offers weekly swimming lessons from the age of 3-years for children to learn how to swim.
Added Miss Carter: “Parents are delighted when they see their children excited and overjoyed at taking part in their first ever swimming gala, there are lots of cheers, smiles and happy tears.
“Swimming galas are a lot of fun for the children, their families and for our staff who have supported each child as they’ve learnt how to swim.”
