Nursery Children Run Reindeer Miles Raising £850 for Children’s Charity

Children at Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster put their best foot forward and raised £850 for the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust as part of the charity’s Reindeer Festive Fun challenge with more money still coming in.

Running numerous laps of the gymnasium the children all aged between 2 to 4 years jogged and ran in several teams.

Nursery manager, Gaynor Carter, said: “Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust does such amazing work supporting and helping children and their families in so many ways such as by funding research and offering practical and emotional support.”

Vowing that no family should fight childhood cancer alone, the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust funds research into rare and aggressive childhood cancers and provides financial, practical, and emotional support whilst giving families a listening ear at the time when they need it most.

Added Gaynor: “The children had a wonderful time wearing their antlers and red noses and really got into the festive spirit as they ran in their groups.

“We are so grateful to our families for their support, and we would like to congratulate each child for helping us raise such a wonderful amount for a wonderful charity. Happy Christmas everyone!”
