Nursery Children Support Kidderminster Christmas Card Appeal
Children at Little Trinity Nursery are busy colouring and painting their Christmas cards for local people to enjoy as part of this year’s Kidderminster Library’s festive Christmas Card Appeal.
Nursery Manager, Gaynor Carter, said: “The children really love creative activities, and this seasonal pursuit allows them to show off their budding artistic skills.
“Each year we support the appeal with the children making wonderfully coloured Christmas cards, which Kidderminster Library then distributes locally to the elderly and housebound in the community at Christmastime. They also lend out a selection of library books for people to read and enjoy throughout the festive season.
A wonderful and inclusive nursery Christmas activity that provides the children with an opportunity to express themselves as they have fun creating a selection of Christmas cards and festive designs.
Gaynor added: “The children have such a wonderful time and lots of fun, but it also supports their fine motor skills development as they practice writing their name on the inside of their Christmas cards.
“Supporting the Christmas Card Appeal is such as worthwhile cause, and it helps to spread a little joy within our local community for many not be able to share Christmas with their family.”
