Nursery’s Christmas Tree Tags Raise Cash for KEMP

At Christmas instead of sending Christmas cards Kidderminster’s Little Trinity Nursery hold a festive ‘The Christmas Tree Tag’ fundraising event, which so far this year has raised £219 for KEMP Hospice!

Nursery manager, Gaynor Carter, said: “So instead of sending Christmas cards we invite our families and staff to donate the money that they would have spent on Christmas cards to us, and in exchange they receive a Christmas tree tag on which they can write their own personal message, and we then add their tag to our tree, with all monies raised donated to KEMP Hospice.”

Cutting down on the amount of Christmas cards needing to be recycled, Little Trinity’s annual fundraiser helps raise much needed cash to support the work of KEMP Hospice who provide care and support to patients, families, and carers of those experiencing life-limiting illness and bereavement, with Little Trinity’s ‘The Christmas Tree Tag’ event based on KEMP’s 'Light up a Life' campaign.

Added Gaynor: “All our families and staff enjoy taking part, and thanks to their generosity we’ve raised a fantastic £219 for such a wonderful local charity!”
