Preparations for KEMP Hospice retail store grand opening well advanced

Preparations are well underway for KEMP Hospices' latest retail shop in Kidderminster to officially open on Friday 7th March, at 11 am with KEMP inviting anyone interested in volunteering to join them at their coffee morning on Thursday 27th February from 10:30 am. KEMP’s senior shop manager, Dawn McAdam, stated: “We are all very excited to have secured the former premises of 'In Touch' in Coventry Street. “Anyone interested in volunteering for KEMP, please do come along to our coffee morning and find out more about who we are, and importantly the vital retail work that we do in support of KEMP Hospice.” Every year KEMP needs to raise in excess of £940,000 as all services are provided free of charge and delivered by skilled clinical and support teams. KEMP’s new Kidderminster shop in the heart of the town will offer a dedicated children's section, a men's shop as well as a fabulous ‘boutique’ designed and created by students from the Kidderminster Academy. Lynne Jones, KEMP’s retail manager, said: “We are so grateful to everyone for their help in getting the shop ready for the grand opening, and also to the many wonderful students from Kidderminster Academy who have spent hours designing and creating such a fantastic boutique. “We are hoping that the rain will have stopped by opening day on Friday 7th March, as Tom Campbell and the Signal 107 team will be out and about the town helping us celebrate as well as collecting wonderful donations for the new shop.'
