Strutting the Catwalk at Annual KEMP Hospice Fashion Show

Following last year’s sell out show, volunteers and staff at KEMP Hospice are busy preparing for their 'Musical Icons' Fashion event at Kidderminster Town Hall on Wednesday 21st October from 7:30pm. Lynne Jones, Head of Retail said: “This event is one of the highlights of the year for us. Everyone comes together to make sure the audience has a really good time. As well as volunteers and staff from our shops, the Donations Centre and the Hospice modelling and helping out behind the scenes, we also have generous support for the event via many local businesses.” Dicky Dodd from Signal 107 will once again host the evening, which will continue with a Shopping Hall and bar available until 10pm, with another opportunity to purchase Autumn and Winter clothing and accessories the following day at the Town Hall between 10.30 and 3.30pm. KEMP Donations Centre manager, Lilian Griffiths, commented: “Throughout the year our donations centre volunteers have been putting together outfits and stock to showcase and then sell on the night. “Last year the event raised almost £8,000 for KEMP - so we’re all really excited and hoping for another amazing and successful event!” Tickets can be purchased from any KEMP shop, the Hospice or the Town Hall for £7.50, which includes a glass of wine within the price (£5 for under 16’s). Doors open at 7 with the show starting at 7.30pm. For more information about the event please contact Lilian Griffiths on 01562 515757.
