Students Raise Funds for Macmillan

Students and staff came together at Kidderminster’s Holy Trinity School and Sixth Form Centre to enjoy a cake and a drink or two as they took part in this year’s Macmillan Cancer Support ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ on Friday 30th September.

Inspired by the themes of Queen Elizabeth II's 70-year reign, each of the school’s four houses dressed and decorated cakes depicting their chosen category.

Trinity – Diamond Jubilee
Marian - Coronation

Head students Mollie, Alex and Phoebe said: “We really enjoyed taking part in the Macmillan coffee morning as it was a great opportunity to sample homemade cakes and biscuits, raising as much money as we could to support the fantastic work Macmillan does.”

The World's Biggest Coffee Morning started in 1990 and is Macmillan Cancer Support's biggest fundraising initiative and continues to be a very popular annual charity event at Holy Trinity school.
