The Open University’s (OU) Children’s Research Centre has partnered with charity, YSS to conduct a two-year study into the impact on children, young people and their families when a parent or carer is in prison.

YSS’s Families First, a Worcestershire service supporting children and families affected by parental imprisonment, has launched a dedicated web page to enable families to easily access advice, help and support.

Thanks to Families First, Worcestershire children and families affected by parental imprisonment are no longer alone.

Launched last month by voluntary sector charity YSS, Families First is already starting to make a difference in Worcestershire to children and young adults affected by the imprisonment of a loved one.
